how does the assignment to the project work if I have more than one screen?

Hi There,

I have now defined several screens for several issue types. How can I assign them all to one project. Each time I replace the "old" added screen with the "new" added screen.
Or can I only use the new screens in new projects?

Hi Julia - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Issue Type Screen Schemes are made up of Screen Schemes. If you replace the issue type screen scheme associated with the project, it will use whatever screen schemes (and therefore screens) that are associated with that issue type screen scheme. 

So, you can use whatever screens with whatever projects - new and old don't matter.
