I don't know what you mean by project progress. Please note that JSM generally is focused on customer issues not what I see as traditional "projects". With that said Customers can view the latest info on tickets/issues that they created or participating in via the portal. The portal is the only method that the customer has at their disposal to assess their tickets. For a user to be able to access the application, then they must be licensed to do so, which is not free.
