how to a remove a user from the default assinge?

i want to stop deafult assinging happening for a specific user, and also want know about where this default assigning is happening and how we can disable it.

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

There are multiple ways a default assignee may be set.

If you navigate to Project Settings > Summary and look at the Roles section, you may see a default assignee specified there.

If you navigate to Project Settings > Components, you may see a default assignee specified for one or more Components.

The assignee may also be getting set through a Post Function in the Workflow, or through an Automation Rule.

how can remove a user from the default assinge?

If the default assignee for an issue is being set based on the Components or the higher level Project Summary setting then you must be a Project Administrator for that project to change that.

If the default assignee is getting set by the workflow, you must be a Jira Administrator to change that.

If it is set through an Automation Rule, then a Project Administrator may be able to change that, or it may require Jira Administrator permissions.

If you are neither a Project Administrator for the project or a Jira Administrator, you will need to contact those people to get assistance.
