how to clean up all items(inlcuding projects) from a jira instance at one shot ?

Hi Team,

 

Could you please let us know the procedure  to clean up all items(inlcuding projects) from a jira instance at one shot ? This is required as a part of project requiremnent.

And this part from the above link -

From JIRA Home Directory, delete the dbconfig.xml file.
 If you wish to wipe off the data for the instance, drop the database as well.

 

Thus, you can stop your jira. Drop the database. Delete the dbconfig.xml in the JIRA_HOME directory and when you restart JIRA then you should be able to configure it from scratch.(But do take the backup as this process will delete everything including user accounts)
