Anandaraj M May 8, 2019

Hi All,

I am using Jira service desk. In this regards,  please suggest me the following request.

1. How to change the URL for the agent and customer. Can any you please share the steps.

2. How to configure "create date and time" in customer portal.

3. How to remove "none" option from priority , urgency category.

4. In customer portal, i cannot get all tickets ( pending , Open and closed tickets ) if i select "All request". but if i select "my request" i can see only open tickets.

Thanks

  1. I'm not sure what version you are using, but a quick Google search turned up this - https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-customize-customer-portal-url-in-jira-service-desk-server-847755218.html
  2. Not sure what you mean by 'configure'--service desk requests should be stamped with created date and time already.
  3. This page explains configuring priorities for a project - https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/defining-priority-field-values-938847101.html
  4. 'All requests' shows requests for all users you have access to, 'My requests' shows only your requests, but in either case it only shows 'Open requests' by default.  If you want to see others, you need to change the filters on the page--change 'Open requests' to 'Any status'.

Hi @Anandaraj M ,

1. Please refer to the documentation at https://confluence.atlassian.com/confeval/jira-service-desk-evaluator-resources/jira-service-desk-customize-your-portal-url

2. Can you please elaborate? Create date and time is when the issue is created.

3. You cannot remove the none option. Alternatively, you can make the field mandatory and/or select a default value for the field. Please vote on the open request at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-5332

4. Please check the Project Permissions to ensure you have "View Issue" permission on all the issues.

Regards,

Bhushan
