we have some central functions working on demand for the scrum teams. In the following example lets say icon designer.

The icon designers are not part of the scrum teams but they get tickets from different scrum teams assigned and the tickets have to get prioritized.

For that we would like to have a board specifically for all icon design tickets, but we would like to have a synced copy (status etc) in the scrum team to have an overview about all necessary tasks for a product.

Does this make sense? Is there a way to do that in Jira? A couple of years ago it wasn't possible but I remember a lot of people were asking for it.

If still not possible, is there maybe another senseful way to achieve this or something similar?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @joerg_witthaus

Welcome to the community.

You can create a custom filter to select the issues for the "icon designers" team. That filter can pull issues from multiple projects.

You can create an agile board manually to use that filter, and that board would be used by the "icon designers" team to prioritize their work.

In this scenario they would be working directly on the issues that are part of the other teams projects. Is that desirable, or does the team need to work on issues that are copies of the originals with information being synchronized back to the originals?
