how to customize Statistic Type name

I need to customize the existing Statistic type name in JIRA, can someone assist me in doing this. My JIRA version is 7.6.14

Could you explain what you mean by "statistic type name" in more detail?  Perhaps a screen shot?

Thank you, it really is great to get a well-considered and absolutely clear answer to "we are not sure what you mean".

You could try changing the language or translations, but I would start by asking why there is a need to change it?   What would you like to change it to, and what is the problem with the current wording?   (To be fair, I think it could be improved, but I've not yet come up with anything better)
