how to deactivate some workflow jira for updates?

I cannot move it, and this is Ticket workflow so I am afraid if I delete, all the tickets will go wrong and that'll be nightmare.

Welcome to the community!

To deactivate a workflow, you have to re configure all the projects using it, telling them to migrate all their issues to another workflow.

Are you trying to edit a workflow? Or get rid of one?

Ok, you will have to reconfigure all the projects currently using it, make your edits and then re-associate it.

That's not the best way to do this though, because it's two migrations and needs another workflow to temporarily associate.

A better option would be to make a copy of the workflow you want to edit.  A copy will not be associated with any projects, so you will then be able to edit that, make all the changes you need.  Then replace the old workflow with the new one.
