how to enforce a state transition with an opened blocked by linked issue?

I would like to prevent an issue from certain state transitions if there is an opened "Blocked By" issue linked to it.

Hi David,

Maybe you can add a Sub-Task Blocking Condition that checks if their are any sub-tasks with a certain status. In your case this will be the open status. How are your issues linked together? As sub-tasks, linked issues,...?
