Hi Team,
I want to export 3000 issues from my JIRA project but it is allowing me to export 1000. Is there a way to export more than 1000 issues at one time?
Need help in this.
Thanks & Regards,
Sunil Kumar M.
Good morning. I have an Excel Spreadsheet that executes the REST Call for issue retrieval.
You will need to change the parameters to match your site, API Key, JQL, and fields -- but it should give you the structure you are looking for. As you can see in this example, it pulls back 1700+ issues,.
It doesn't look like I can attach a file here... you can download it fro the home page on my website - splitdimedata.com

Hi @Muddada Sunil Kumar - Vendor ,
If you don't mind using an app from the Atlassian Marketplace, you can try our Excel Online Integration app. It can export issues (and many other data sets) to an Excel xlsx file or Excel 365. It doesn't have limitations in regards of issue counts. If you just need to export to a local Excel file, you don't have to configure anything. It works for DC and Cloud. Give it a try.
Kind regards,
The Mobility Team

... and if purpose of your export is to import them back to other Jira instance you can use CMJ Configuration Manager for Jira. For any other purpose of export you can try plugin Xporter.

Hi @Muddada Sunil Kumar - Vendor
This article explains how you can achieve this even on DC, so you can use it to generate the download you need via API.

Hi @Muddada Sunil Kumar - Vendor , one consideration would be to use the Rest API. Another option would be a Marketplace addon. In cloud I use the official Excel extension but that isn't available in DC.
