how to fix Error when creating board Failed to correctly configure context for Epic Status field?

Hi,

When trying to create a scrum board, I get an error:
"Failed to correctly configure context for custom field with id customfield_10012"

Problem is, this is the "Epic Status" field, which by default is locked, cannot be edited, and cannot have any field contexts configured. What's weirder, is that it DOES actually create the board (which isn't obvious, because the error implies that board creation was unsuccessful). I've been troubleshooting for hours and can't figure out how this was introduced (and thus, how to fix it).

I am using Jira cloud, a ticket has been submitted, but perhaps there's a simple answer to this problem. All help is appreciated, thanks!

Thank you for reaching out.

The error you are facing occurred because of a short and temporary incident that added a new option to the Epic status field, causing Jira application to don't render it with the correct and expected values.

That being said, this problem has been fixed and its fix deployed for all Jira Cloud sites in the past few days. Can you please confirm if this problem is still reproducible in your site?
