how to restrict users from editing due dates

i want to restrict the right of editing the due date of a task once its created, the right to move forward the due date should remain with a few individuals of the team. 
can someone please help

If you take away the Schedule Issues permission from the users they will not be able to modify the Due date at all. However the Schedule Issues permission affects the ability to manage sprints also. Refer to

Currently there is no way natively to prevent editing on individual issues. A workaround is to revert the change after it occurs using an Automation rule. Refer to this article for more information:
