how to show all defined columns of a kanban board in the "backlog" view

johan milio March 25, 2020

hi all,

i defined a kanban board and started using it as described in: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/use-your-kanban-backlog/

in that view, i can only see: 1. the backlog, and 2. the very first of my self-defined columns;

even if i change the order of the self-defined columns, it is always the column directly next to the backlog column that is shown;

isn't there a way to show other/all defined columns in this view?

Hi Johan,

Unfortunately, no - there will always only be two columns in the Backlog view - the status in the Backlog column and the first column on your Kanban board.

The board is then designed to have all of your columns to reflect your activities after the card is ready to be worked and has moved out of your Backlog.
