how to stop subtasks from inheriting the fix version

When a user story task is created on a story that has a fix version, then the subtask inherits that fix version. We do not want the fix version on any subtasks or user story tasks. Is this possible?

as far as i know all subtask automatically get that information. I do not believe it can't be changed.
