Hi Everyone,
Hope you all are doing great!!
My requirement is how to use automation rule by taking input from two different custom field and based on those input it should reflect result on third custom field.
Impact and Probability are custom field with values given below
Risk Rating calculation
Impact | |||
Major | Medium | High | Extreme |
Moderate | Medium | Medium | High |
Minor | Low | Medium | Medium |
Unlikely | Moderately Likely | Highly Likely
Probability >>> |
For example - If Impact is Major and Probability is Moderately Likely then Third custom field i.e Risk Rating calculator should show result High.
I am really looking forward to solve this problem together.
Thanks in advance!!
Hi @Naman Jain
What have you tried thus far to solve this problem? If you have started an automation rule and it is not working as expected, please post images of the rule and audit log details; those will provide context for the community to offer suggestions.
If you have not started your rule yet, please consider trying this using if/else conditions on your field values.
You could also do this in one step, using a complex conditional logic, smart value expression.
Kind regards,
Bill
