Hello i can't really share a filter

i followed the steps bellow but the problem is :

  1. Choose Issues > Manage Filters.
  2. Click the My tab. This tab displays all the filters that have been created by you.
  3. Locate the filter you wish to share and click on it.
  4. Click the Details link to the right of the filter's name, as shown here:
  5. Click Edit permissions to open the Edit Current Filter screen
  • the problem is i don't find the link " edit permissions "

how can i do to have this ?

here is the link to the screen capture : https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bx2sOasGvzxtdTU4cWdiQWx5TkU/edit?usp=sharing

Bother, just answered that on the original thread...

Ah, this is something I regularly forget - most places I've worked have a blanket policy that "all users can share things", but that's not the default.

Go to Global Permissions and look for "create shared objects". Make sure you are in a group that has that permission. (In the long run, think about your users and who should be allowed to share)

It was a pain that this was so hard to find. Following these steps solved the problem for me.

Yes, with great flexibility comes great complexity of administration.

Sharing filters is controlled by a global permission that only an administrator can grant...
