is it possible to do many-one mapping in CSV import ?

description:

suppose i have two fields mapped to a single field in JIRA, in that case can i import both the fields to that single field in JIRA,

say, i have some thing like user-ID & user-name both mapped to reporter, so can i impoort both to reporter ??

No. Reporter is a single data field, you can only put a single user in there.

For fields that can hold multiple data, you should be able to map multiple columns (but I am not 100% sure of that because the last time I was importing CSV, it was a hacked importer, so that might have been a feature of that importere)

yes, multiple data (e.g. for multi select lists, multi version, ...) can be imported.

Thanks Udo, I really couldn't remember (except for comments, I know those work on multiple columns)
