java 14 openJDK and Jira

Hello,

I want to install java openJDK 14,

should jira already have the latest version of java?

Hi Mariusz,

Jira Software lists its supported platforms at https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/supported-platforms-938846830.html. At present, only Java 8 and Java 11 are supported, so running Jira with Java OpenJDK is strongly not recommended.

If you're installing Jira using the installer, you don't need to install Java as it is already prebundled.
