I try to change "startdate" and "enddate" with API Rest, but I didn't find format in order to change "startdate", i looked all exemple in this URL https://developer.atlassian.com/display/JIRADEV/JIRA+REST+API+Tutorials, but no examples of GreenHopper.

is it possible to change plugin of REST, in order to insert a new function?

Yes, therefore it is impossible to change Start Date with REST in version Jira 4.2.4 !!!
