my jira version is 4.4.1.

the jira has been running for more than one year,so there are many datas in jira.

today, jira service is suddenly stopped.so i have to start the service. but after a while it stopped again.

then i once again start the service, and this time jira is successfully started.

i tried to search error messages in atlassian-jira.log , and couldn't find any message about "OutofMemory".

so i was confused about it.

Well, you are looking in the right place - the log fiile should tell you what is happening (it may not be running out of memeory, but running into another problem)

What are you seeing in the log file? Around startup would be nice, but the main item of interest is whatit sasy as ut showns own....
