jira creates more than one issue with the same content at the same time..why?

Hello all!

Please help me understanding this!

At some moments (i didn't find a "trigger") our Jira 7.6.2 creates more than one Issue at the same moment and with the same content.

How is this possible?

It creates a 1:1 copy of the Issue, the only difference is the ticket number (Project-1, Project-2, etc.).

Can you help me with this?

To better help you on this question, could you please provide us more details:

• Are those duplicates issues being created by email, or are you creating manually from the interface?
• Is this project a Service Desk, Software or Business?
• Can you reproduce the same with more than one user?
• Can you reproduce the same in different projects?

The Issues are created manually. As far as i know the "Mail 2 Issue" Function works as designed.

• Is this project a Service Desk, Software or Business?

All of the affected Projects are Business Projects.

• Can you reproduce the same with more than one user?

Yes, it looks like every user has this "Feature" ;)

• Can you reproduce the same in different projects?

Yes, but all of them are Business Projects.
