jira feild overlap

Hi,

   We have recenlty upgraded from 8.5 to 8.15 jira software.. User say that there is overlap of feilds .Can you let me know if this behaviour is by default??

Hi @Suma Pralhad Kustagi  - If you mean a field with the same name, then the answer is yes. As best practices, one of the fields should be renamed so its easier to identify which field it is when performing a search.
