jira installation

I install the s.w but can not seem to get the tool to run. Or setup come to think about it

Hi Christopher,

We will try to help you, please provide more info on the problem and answer to the below questions?

• After the installation complete, how did you try to access JIRA? 
• If the JIRA does not comes up, do you have any firewall (or IPTABLES) that is blocking the JIRA to access?
• If it's Linux/Unix, try using ps -ef | grep -i java command to see if JIRA is up and running? Also use, netstat command to see the JIRA port status?
• Also, provide the logs (atlassian-jira.log and catalina.out) for any errors/warnings?
