jira jquery update

Hi!

Is exists legal way to update jQuery for jira 4.4.5 to 1.7.x version? What problem I can meet?

I want use twitter bootstrap for my plugin, but it required jQuery 1.7.

Is jira uses "pure" jquery, or it's patched by atlassian?

Hi, I wouldn't suggest upgrading JIRA's bundled jQuery nor will it be a simple/easy process. The problem is it's not tested and there could be a lot of compatibility issues.

As Atlassian have renamed their jQuery bundle, you can simply bundle your own for your uses, provided you check that it doesn't conflict with other plugins.
