Working in JIRA Cloud and JIRA Portfolio

We set up a plan that uses a Kanban board as its source.

Looking at the Scope view, the Progress bar does not show any progress, even though Stories and Epics are In Progress and, in some cases, done.

If we set the same plan up against a SCRUM board, the Progress bar reflects the work being done/completed.

Hoe do we het the Progress bar to reflect work when using a Kanban Board?

Hi Jeanne,

To have the schedulling progress bar to show properly, depending on which estimation unit the project uses, you would need to configure the planning unit by following this steps below: 

1. Go to Configure Plan
2. Click on Scheduling
3. Set Planning unit under the Planning mode section accordingly

Ahmad,

I have looked at the Planning Units and it will only let me plan in Days and Hours. Story Points is greyed out with the message that points can not be used for Kanban teams.

I have modified the plan to use Filters as the issue source. This was done because we can not use the Team Scrum Boards as source (the boards are added/dropped frequently and would require constant updates/maintenance to the plan source).

I am assuming I am getting the message "points can not be used for Kanban teams" because the plan is using a filter (the message should be updated to reflect this).

I have tried setting the default planning units to days and hours, but still see no progress in the Progress Bar.
