Hi All

At present the ability to link a user Story to an Epic is dependent on whether the user had edit issue permission or not.

Is it possible to make this action depend on the link issue permission instead of the edit issue permission?

You should not really contemplate changing the behavior of Epics and Permissions for one Project. Give the users a way of trigger a link by editing another field the updates the Epic by a user that has edit.
