hello every body...I have a question...is there any way to assign issue automatic based on workload ?
I'm looking for a way to automatic assign but depending on the workload of the Assignable Users. In this way, new issues should go to the person with the lowest workload.
The workload is the number of issues assignee to each person...but I dont want use add ons...is there any way auto assign issue based on workload without add on?
thank you.
Hi @fereshte kh
Unfortunately, Jira doesn't have features based on workload. You can assignee issues automatically on the specific employee in a project. But not based on workload.
Such feature you can find in add-ons.
thank you but it is possible with add ons...automation for jira add ons

Hi @fereshte kh
Without an app it is difficult to achieve but what you can do is that whenever an issue is assigned to a user you can create an automation rule to know how many other issues are already assigned to that user using something like this.
{{issue.assignee.displayName}} already has {{lookupIssues.size}} assigned unresolved issues.
This will add a comment on the issue on issue assigned event. I made a video on this topic.
I hope it helps.

not out of the box. You might be able to do it with scriptrunner. I suggest you enter another question asking about assigning issues with scriptrunner.
