key for component seperate from project key

One of our users wants to be able to assign a seperate key to issues created under a specific component in a project.

For e.g: Project - PRJ, Component A - CMPA

Issue created in PRJ under CMPA will have key CMPA-0001.

Is there any way to do this?

No.

Project keys are fixed and single.

I do not get a 404 when using a direct click, opening a new tab, or copy/pasting the url. Google can find it. Please check.
