When the user opens Dashboard Gadgets, it shows the error " looks like we can't show you the content of this gadget due to its configuration"

Please helpm on this.

Here is the possible bug that you might be facing:

1 - Pie Chart Gadget Cannot Parse JQL with Nested Filter and WAS operator

Happens when all the 3 requirements below are met:

• JIRA Pie Chart Gadget
• Pie Chart users a Filter that references a different filter
• The JQL also contains the "WAS" operator

Workaround:

"Flatten" all of the filters into one and use that for the Pie Chart.

I.e. instead of using a nicely modular "sub-filter":

filter = "testfilter"

Build a filter that includes the contents of the "sub-filter" directly inline. And check the filter permission as well. Filter must be shared to the users who is facing the issue.
