mentioning users in the ticket comment by @user name.

Mentioning users in the ticket comment by @User name, email notification is sending while we mention the user name.

But his\her name is not adding in the ticket watchers list, Is this normal behavior ?

Is this possible to fix the issue?

Hi @Thangavel VELUCHAMY Yes, It is normal behavior, If you want watcher should receive the notification you have to add the watcher manually. I agree with @Jack Brickey  and @KAGITHALA BABU ANVESH

@username in comment is mentioning, for this only once they receive email.

Watchers --> will receive all notifications when there is a change happened on Issue.

We have to add watchers manually

and the reason why you want the separation is that you (and the recipient) don't always want to see all the updates that a Watcher might receive. Mentions are sort of a one-and-done sort of thing.
