we have a situation where a new email got added as comment to an older issue.
both emails were from same user and had same subject but no JIRA issue number.
can anyone please explain reasons and possible resolution?
Do the two issues (intended and the unintended) belong to 2 different projects?
Please check the mail handler settings for both the projects. If the mail handler settings are missing for the older project, then it is plausible that the email subject attributed itself to the older project.
