I assume this is a Scrum/Kanban board, as this shouldn't be an issue in Team-managed or Work Management boards.

First, I'd check in Board Settings...

• Columns: Statuses are mapped to the correct columns - so your "In Progress" status(es) are mapped to the right column, etc
• General:
  • If using Kanban, check if Hide completed issues older than is set. You might need to modify this setting, if you want to see older "Done" issues
  • Check your Filter Query - and ensure specific statuses aren't being exempt, or there's not some other reason for issues being hidden.
    • You can modify the filter query if needed by pressing Edit Filter Query under Saved Filter

If these don't work - let us know what type of Project yours is, and the board type in use, so we can investigate further!
