open issues per month over time - historical status

I would like a chart of open issues of a certain type on a certain date every month - for example:

Open bugs on Jan 1st, Feb 1st, Mar 1st etc.

EasyBI seems to do this https://eazybi.com/accounts/1000/cubes/Issues/reports/187032-cumulative-flow-diagram

Is it possible to do this on Dashboard Hub or a similar plugin?

One option you may try is Performance Objectives app.

Below is a sample configuration based on your requirement, with two types of visualization - bar chart and area chart. You can choose to display data by hour, day, week, month, quarter, year.

We are using 'Status Change Date' field and conditional 'Time in status' metric, both are dynamically extracted measures in the app.
