open issues queue not showing any issues in a specific porject

Negar Mousavi December 26, 2023

Hey there,

I'm using Jira Server and i have a service project called HR. in this project in open issues queue none of the issues are shown although there is 140 issues in this queue. the jql is simple resolution = Unresolved and the Queues part in left hand side it shows number 140 in front of open issues queue like the photo.
I have tried deleting the queue and create a new one its not working and all my other queues work properly and shows all issues.

I also have checked all the fields and they are ok.

with this jql i can see the issues in search for issue.

Has anyone had the same problem?

Hi @Negar Mousavi ,

I suspect this issue could be linked to the configuration of the queue or a potential problem with indexing.

  • Reindexing: Sometimes, discrepancies in issue visibility can be resolved by performing a full reindex of your Jira instance. This can be done through Jira administration by going to System >> Advanced >> Indexing >> Reindex.
  • Queue Configuration Check:
Inspect the configuration of the "Open Issues" queue. Verify that the JQL filter for the queue is defined as resolution = Unresolved and ensure no other filters or conditions are limiting the display of the 140 issues.
Double-check that the issue types and statuses considered in the queue's filter cover all the relevant issues you anticipate seeing.

Also, if you feel my input help you please accept the answer.

Regards,
Bhushan
