Just to confirm, i will be able to download source code of JIRA by purchasing the licence?? As i am working on plugin development, i need source code. Also, is source code available for free(i hope not as JIRA is proprietary software)?

To buy a licence, you need to set up a https://my.atlassian.com/ account and purchase it through that.

Could you explain where you are stuck in that process?
