post function - assign to author

Hi,

I have a question about post-functions. I want a task that can only be closed after the reporter has approved it. With the change of the status to APPROVE, the task should be automatically assigned to the author in order that he can see that he has to approve it. Therefore I used the post function ASSIGN TO REPORTER. However, the assigned person remains the editor and does not change to the reporter.What did I do wrong? Or is there a different way for the reporter to see that he has to approve a task?

Does the current user making the change have the permission "assign issue" and is the current reporter a valid assignee? (Has permission "can be assigned issues")
