postgressql initial connection error

Error connecting to database on initial set up of Jira - i beliee I have follwed th eset up of psotgressql as per th esetup instructions

FATAL: no pg_hba.conf entry for host "192.168.1.37", user "jiradbuser", database "jiradb", SSL off

 

I can't finmd a reference to this error

Welcome to the community!

Based on the error message provided, it looks like you are facing the issue documented here:

Have you tried the resolution from the KB article above?

The resolution mentioned that in order to solve this error :

Add the IP address of the application (e.g., Jira) server to the pg_hba.conf and make sure that the method is not set to reject. You need to modify the xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and put the IP address to allow connections.

Do check the article for more details information and keep us updated with the progress.
