I have had a few users have problems attaching files. We are on Jira 4.2 and XP machines running IE 6 or greater. When the user goes to add files and click on Browse, the "Choose File To Upload" window does not show any files when the types of files is set to "All Files". The user has files on the deskop but the window does not show them. Has anyone seen this before?
Problem solved. The user was running Jira on Citrix and was looking for files on the Citrix C: drive rather than their locally mapped c: drive. I assumed the user was running Jira locally.
