"Description is required" when creating an issue

Good morning, 

I am having some issues when generating a new issue under a project. 

After filling in all the required field (end even the non required ones) nothing happens and an error message saying "The Description is required" appears.

However, no Description field is available. Also, when looking for it under "Fiel Configuration" just to make sure that it wasn't hidden, the field "Description" doesn't appear.

It might be an easy error, but I am not able to solve it myself. I would really appreciate your help.

Hi,

Use "Where is my field?" functionality (top right corner of the Create Issue Screen) to find the reason why you can't see the Desription field.

I'm quite sure there's something with your Field Configuration. Check the Field Configuration Scheme to make sure that the Field Configuration you verifying is the one linked to your Issue Type.
