I received your announcement by email today: https://www.atlassian.com/blog/announcements/the-next-era-of-jira
I was super excited to see how an interdisciplinary consolidation around goals (and other features) has come to define what's next for Jira. I've been using Jira for over a decade, and I can't wait to see how this plays out.
My current team is paying for Confluence but not Jira because we continue to use Linear for our engineering team. I'd like to move us from Linear to a paid Jira tier, and I think some of the new features could be the deciding factor, given that they promise to bring our multi-disciplinary teams together.
Is there a way for us to get our hands on the new features on a limited time, eval basis to determine if we can make the switch?
Hey Matt,
In addition to Dave's comments, what are the things that Linear does for you that you need to duplicate that functionality in Jira?
Hi Matt,
We offer Jira free forever for up to 10 users, it includes a huge amount of functionality for all teams, including lists and goals (rolling out over the next few months). You can check out what's available here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/pricing
Plans and AI features require a Premium plan. We offer 30-day trials of the Premium plan. Hope this helps!
