"Only users in project role can execute this transition" NOT WORKING

I have applied condition on workflow transition to allow "users in project role to execute a transition" and published. Transition button is neither visible to allowed project role users nor anyone else. 

When I applied the condition on "user in groups", then its working. 

Kindly correct me what I am doing wrong ? Is there any step I am missing here?

are the users member of the projekt role?

is the Project role assigned to the Project?

No, the were not assigned. My mistake.

I have assigned project role to my project. Now its working

The validator must work in a correct way, please confirm these points:

+ Be careful to include your condition and then publish your workflow too. 

+ In addition, have you check your Script Runner is working well? 

+ Third thing,  reviewing your roles in your project.

Hi Tauqir, maybe it is a Server condition but I don’t see “user in project role to execute a transition”. I do see “User Is In Any Project Role”. In any event could you share the following:

• screenshot of the condition details
• details on what you are seeing when using the first condition..

Thanks. Based upon what I see and assuming d1 and d2 are in the Test group 1 then they should be able to transition to in progress but no one else. Basically both conditions must be met.

so are you seeing all individuals in Test group 1 being able to transition even if they are not in the Developer role?
