"Order issues by" default value

Herve Le Toumelin May 6, 2020

Hi,

Each time I open Jira, field "Order issue by" is set to "Priority"

So "Priority" is the default value,

I change it to "Created", but when I close / open JIRA, it start again with "Priority"

I am fed up to have to change this value again and again, how to set "Order issue by" default value as "Created" ?

Thanks

Hello @Herve Le Toumelin

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Per your description, I understand you are using a default system filter that, as soon as you refresh the page, it goes back to their original query. Is that correct?

Indeed, the default system filters can not be edited, although we have a feature request to achieve this:

As an administrator, I would like to customize and add to the System Filters available for each project

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

That being said, If you are using a system filter, I suggest you to edit the filter query with the parameter again (Order by created) and click in the "Save as" button on the right side of the filter's name. This will create a new custom filter that can be edited and saved with the query you added.

You can check the documentation below to know more about Jira filters:
