"Parent Link" is not EMPTY confusion

Hi guys,

I'm having some issues with the custom field "Parent Link".

What I don't understand is when I use the Jira REST API https://<jira-base-url>/rest/api/latest/issue/<issue-key> and search for the custom field, the field is empty.

When I use the button "Where is my Field?" button, it tells me that the "Parent Link" is missing.

1. is not present because it is not on the current screen (this is fine)
   
   
2. The field has no value and is not displayed.

Why does it have no value when the JQL clearly says "is not EMPTY"?

Hi @Slifer 

It's not working properly for this fields as it consider Epic Link as well when you do "Parent Link" is empty if I remember well.
