"Releases" Link in sidebar of service desk kanban board

One of my team members runs a Jira Service Desk with a Kanban Board view.

However down the side of the kanban board there are hardly any options, and there isn't the little "ship" icon for managing releases.

Does anyone know how to add that?

Hi Michael,

I'm afraid there isn't a way to add it. Since the versions are a feature of Software projects, the releases' icon won't be available on a kanban board when its project is a Service Desk project.
