"Timeline now supports all issue types! " applies to all versions?

The example at What is the timeline view and how do I use it?   shows issues and subtasks on the timeline.   However, our JIRA Gnatt chart timelines still only shows epics with a schedule bar.   Is the new level of detail with bars on issuses and subtasks on available only on certain versions?    Or, how do we turn this new feature?

Hi @Pat Schilling

I believe this feature is available for jira work management projects only.

That would be disappointing.

But that would explain the lack of bars and dependency lines on a software project.

Thank you for the possibility.

Tested the dependency links on a "Work Management" test project, and indeed tasks and their children do support link lines on the Timeline.

However, the links are illustrated as "blocks" links, even if "clones" or other relations are designated on the issue page.   Moreover, moving the issue bars up/down vertically for clarity, can not be done on the Timeline view.  The administrator must use the List view to move bars up/down.
