Some specific issues are not showing the "View Worfklow" in the issue transition drop down. I verified the permissions to View Workflow are correct. Please advise.
Hi @Melanie Rogers it looks like you have a condition on the Transition that is currently blocking the transition. This would indeed show the above.
I think Melanie is talking about the option to see the workflow diagram, which should be beneath all the transitions in the menu (it's not a transition)

There are restrictions. So just to understand, if you don't have permissions on the transition, View Workflow is also blocked? I thought View Workflow would be listed as global, i.e. on all issues no matter status.
I also updated the jira-config.properties to 0 and restarted JIRA hoping to clear up the issue.

I'm just answering with what has been my experience. If a condition is applied to a workflow transition and that condition is not met, then the show workflow gets hidden and the permissions dialog shows.

Meet the condition and it will show the next transition and show workflow.

That seems to restrict users who may need to understand the subsequent process steps.
