Hi,
all members of a department on Jira experience the following issues during they want to create a ticket or want to write a comment in a ticket.
A "failed to check maintenance state" error message is shown
and the loading of "smart checklist" never finish
only one department is affected by this issue in our company. I also cannot reproduce. We don't have any idea what can cause it and what is more important, we don't know how could it be fixed?
Thanks,
Zsolt
Hello Zsolt,
This is Illia from the TitanApps team. Sorry to hear you are experiencing this issue!
As you may know, recently, our add-on has been upgraded to the Forge version, aligning with the industry standards and extend its benefits to our customers.
The Failed to Check Maintenance issue is caused because Atlassian Forge doesn’t work properly with JSM permissions, namely for the users who are unlicensed within the instance such as service desk customers, hence the error you are observing.
Atlassian is already aware of such issues and there is a ticket to track the progress of the fix and to vote for it so they can expedite the resolution:
In the meantime, to minimise this inconvenience our team is working on the removal of such message, so it doesn’t confuse any of your customers/clients.
We’ll keep you updated about that. If you see this same error message on other projects besides JSM or have any other questions, don’t hesitate to let us know.
Regards,
Hello Zsolt,
This is Illia here again.
Wanted to let you know that we've removed the message, so there shouldn't be any inconveniences related to it anymore 🙂
Best,
