Hello, using here Jira Software 7.1.10 with several kanban boards deployed to our users.
We are running custom workflows that basically are
(Pending) ---> (...) several different status (..) --> Done.
\--> Cancelled.
The transitions to Done are setting the Resolution to Fixed, while the transitions to Cancelled are setting it to Won't fix.
The problem: In our Kanban board, when the user releases the version, Jira is cleaning up the most righ hand-side column ONLY, while our users are expecting that "Cancelled" and "Done" columns are cleared.
For now, users are switching columns (Cancelled) to the righ side, release, then move (Done) to the right and release again ... Another option is having the 2 "final" status in the same kanban column, but this conflicts wth other user's requirements ...
Can somebody confirm if this is the normal behaviour or am I missing something?
In Agile, done the JIRA way, the right-hand column is your "done" column, no matter what the rest of your data might say about an issue.
You need your done and cancelled status to be in that column
Ok!
I though Jira was clearing all issues with "resolution != null" as they're "final" status ... but knowing this, we will rework a bit the Kanban columns.
Thank you Nic!
