removing or editing github link

We are using DVCS Accounts to connect Github and JIRA. Someone made a typo (ABC-321) in the commit for ABC-123, which caused an incorrect link in the Development section of the JIRA issue (Github info for ABC-123 is showing up in ABC-321). How do you remove the link from the JIRA issue or make and edit so that the links self correct?
