It is to a certain extent. Your kanban board represents the statuses your issues go through towards completion. As issues progress through the board, you will see how many issues are in progress and completed as time goes by. The kanban board also comes with a cumulative flow diagram, which shows you how many tickets are piling up in each status.
Progress, however, is limited to the count of issues per status. The progress in story points or mandays is not visible in a kanban board.
